VISION
Kronoterm is a leading Slovenian manufacturer of heat pump systems — but their previous website failed to explain how the technology works, why it matters, and what customers actually get.
The goal was to rebuild the entire website from the ground up — making it easier for everyday users to understand, compare, and take action when choosing a heat pump solution.

MY ROLE
I led the full redesign of the Kronoterm website:
Simplified complex technical content into clear, benefit-driven messaging
Restructured the IA to guide users from awareness to inquiry
Designed a modern, responsive UI that elevated brand trust and clarity
Built visual flows that explained how heat pumps work, why they save money, and which models are right for which homes
Created product pages, comparison tools, and dynamic calculators to support conversions

CHALLENGES
How do you explain an unfamiliar, technical product to non-technical users — and make them feel confident in buying?
• The old site overwhelmed users with specs and jargon
• Users didn’t understand cost vs. savings, installation complexity, or system types
• Lead capture was weak — no clear CTAs, education, or entry points
• Trust signals (e.g. certifications, success stories, warranty info) were underused

OUTCOME
The redesigned website launched successfully, resulting in a 56% increase in lead generation, clearer product understanding among potential buyers, and stronger brand positioning in the competitive energy solutions market.
