VISION
& Mission
Grab Slabs set out to create the first modern platform purpose-built for buying and selling graded cards — including Pokémon, TCG, and sports slabs from PSA, BGS, CGC, and more.
Where existing marketplaces were clunky, generic, or full of fakes, Grab Slabs aimed to deliver a trusted, collector-first experience — designed specifically for slabs, with structured listings, clean data, and fast, transparent trading.

MY ROLE
As Product Designer, I led the design of the product from the ground up:
• Defined the full buying and listing experience tailored to graded cards
• Worked closely with the founding team to shape feature scope and UX priorities
• Designed every surface — from onboarding and card search to slab detail and seller tools
• Built a scalable design system in Figma to support fast iteration
• Created high-fidelity prototypes used for development, user testing, and fundraising

CHALLENGES
How do you design a trading platform that feels fast, credible, and tailored to a niche collector audience?
• Marketplace needed to handle grading data (cert, slab type, set, condition) with precision
• Sellers required a listing flow that was fast but structured — not just a generic form
• Buyers expected trust signals like verified sellers, pricing history, and real photos
• Needed to balance collector emotion (aesthetic) with transactional speed
• Mobile UX had to be frictionless — for listing, browsing, and tracking trades

IMPACT
Built the entire core product experience — from MVP to launch
• Designed a unique slab listing system
• Developed a clean, trusted buyer flow
• Shaped the visual language and tone for the platform
• Enabled mobile-first usage from day one
